Despite banging out 18 miles yesterday I decided to give a workout a go this morning just to see where I was at. It was really humid but luckily the temps were in the low 70's. I was feeling a little tired and sluggish but overall not that bad. The first loop felt much better than last week and I came through about 3 seconds faster but, more importantly, feeling like I could hold it for the second loop. Felt like I maintained the pace pretty goo through the first half and then really tried to bring it home he last 1k or so. I was working really hard the last 800 meters and i am sure my legs were flailing all over the place. Pretty happy that I was able to run 15 seconds faster this week than last week in the same conditions but with 32 miles that last two days compared to 12. The progress continues!
